| Resumo: | [EN] In this paper we describe some digital textual genres specific to museums. There are few studies on textual genres and museum language in Museology. Linguistics and Translation Studies do not abound in studies on museums and their forms of textual production. In our previous works we have dealt with the study of museum textual genres. The digital sphere has meant a transformation for museums and the way they communicate and for society in general. New ways of expanding museum information have emerged. In this paper we have addressed some of the digital genres associated with several museums: we have studied a sample of Andalusian public museums managed by the Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage of the Regional Government of Andalusia, in southern Spain. Our work will address the strengths and weaknesses of these texts, focusing on the website macro-genre, which has made progress in recent years, but could be subject to several improvements to contribute to one of the vital functions of museums: communicate with audience. |
