| Resumo: | [eng] The rise in popularity of the Coves del Drac started in the last decades of the XIX century. Since then, an intense written production has been published in many diff erent literary ways to describe its underground landscapes, focusing in the great size of its chambers, the charm of its lakes and the amazing speleothems decoration displayed everywhere. In this paper we present an updated description of the air-fi lled sectors of the cave ‒currently located above the water table‒ which are considered the classic parts in terms of exploration history and subsequent adaptation for touristic purposes. We will split the description of the cave following the distinct volume units corresponding to the Cova Negra, the Cova Blanca, the Cova de Lluís Salvador, the Cúpula Moragues, the Sala de los Herreros and fi nally the Sala Louis Armand. |
