Descripción
Sumario:[eng] During the exploration and topography of the Coves del Drac in Porto Cristo, it came up the need and the opportunity to explore several nearby cavities in search of possible connections: Cova de Cala Murta, Cova de s’Enterrossall, Cova dels Coloms and Cova de sa Piscina. Only the fi rst two seem to have some kind of genetic relationship with the famous touristic cave, probably as a result of the collapse of old galleries or sharing of morphogenetic mechanisms favored by similar characteristics of the terrain in which they are formed. Th e third is a remarkable marine cave but without observable morphogenetic relationship. Th e lack of conclusive data precludes the establishment of any relationship of the latter cave (Cova de sa Piscina) and Coves del Drac. Th is apparently unpublished cave was found during the search of another documented cave in the area that it has been probably lost due to urban development
