description The present investigation had as an objective to construct and validate a questionnaire to collect the teachers perception over the gestion of the directors and their influenve over Civic Education in chilean Schools, to then collect said information and associate types of leadership with different kinds of Civic Education. For the development of the questionnaire a theoric revision was made of three different constructs: Civics, Leadership and Democracy, of wich were subdivided in different aspects: types of leaderships, types of civic education, conflict, participation and equality. From these aspects indicators were developed from wich the questions are based on. The validation of the instrument was based on the validation of the content, fiability and validation of the construct. The validation of the content was obtained from a Jury of Experts, while the fiablity or confiability was obtained from the calculation of the Coefficient of Validity of Hernandez Nieto and Fleiss kappa. Finally, the analysis of the constructs was performed with an Exploratory Factor Analysis on ordinal data and a Latent Class Model for nominal data.

A la luz de esa indagación observar qué estilo de liderazgo se vincula con cada tipo de formación ciudadana, asociados con la cultura democrática de la escuela. Para la construcción se realizó una revisión teórica de tres constructos, ciudadanía, liderazgo y democracia, de los cuales se desprendieron las dimensiones, tipos de liderazgo, tipos de formación ciudadana, conflicto, participación e igualdad, de estas cinco dimensiones, se desprendieron los indicadores que dieron origen a los ítems. Se realizó la validación del instrumento a través de validez de contenido, fiabilidad y validez de constructo mediante análisis de estructura interna. La validez de contenido se obtuvo a partir de dos procedimientos de juicios de experto, la fiabilidad o confiabilidad a través del cálculo del coeficiente de validez de Hernández Nieto y el índice de Kappa de Fleiss. Por último, para el análisis de los constructos se aplicaron: un análisis factorial exploratorio para datos ordinales y un análisis de clases latentes para datos nominales.
