Descripción
Sumario:In this essay we make some reflections about the tensions caused by the anti-gender offensive in the Brazilian context, mainly with regard to attacks and persecutions against research and researchers who investigate gender and sexuality issues in the field of humanities. We consider that the debate around these issues emerges as an urgent agenda in contemporary times, since this neoconservative and religious movement seeks to impair advances in the field of sexual and reproductive rights and in the implementation of public policies focused on women, non-heterosexual people, and other dissidents of the sexual and/or gender order. From this point of view, we point out the need to establish political and pedagogical strategies to face lgbtphobic and/or sexist practices, among many other violations that are still reproduced within society.
