Descripción
Sumario:Analysis of the discourse of the "crisis of masculinity" and the ways in which it has been sustained through explanations supported by arguments such as the "feminization of society" and the scarcity of solid male role models. The central issues of this work stem from the theoretical frameworks of gender studies, with a particular focus on studies on masculinities, and the broader theorization of feminism. Therefore, it employs concepts such as gender, masculinities, feminisms, and state antifeminism. The main objective was to seek an understanding of the phenomenon of the rhetoric of the anti-gender offensive in the current Brazilian political scenario. The structure of the text was built in the form of a theoretical-analytical approach guided by an emphasis on both intersubjective and macrosociological understanding of the investigated social phenomena. The central argument is that it is necessary to resist (and overcome) conservative groups responsible for the constant attempts to perpetuate state antifeminism. Keywords: Gender Studies; Crisis of masculinity; Anti-gender Offensive; State Antifeminism.
