Descripción
Sumario:Beginning with the modernization of the Mexican State in 1857, the process of secularization and secularization of public spaces and social actors transformed the representations of children, children, school and teaching. Educational authorities assumed that the teaching of morality was a substantive element in the formation of infants in the secular school. Therefore, the State and the pedagogues promoted the ideal of the virtuous child by teaching practical morality lessons during the four years of elementary school.
