Resumo:Objective: Learn about the problems of Malocclusions with the children attending the CAM no.1 in Tepic, Nayarit. Material and methods: the sample was of 62 students, who held intraoral clinical examination with natural light and tongue depressor. Results: Children with hearing disabilities, pervasive development disorder and autism presented malocclusion in 100 cases, in children with multiple disabilities the prevalence was 80 % and intellectual disability group of 94 %. Conclusions: The studied population requires to apply public health approaches, based on the three recommendations of the Commission on social determinants, established by the World Health Organization and the care of oral health through the essential public health functions and strengthening of alliances with health institutions.
