Sumario:Malocclusion, is the disruption of normal growth and development of teeth and their bony bases. This represents a public health problem since it affects a large segment of the population, constituting the 3rd greater prevalence among the oral diseases according to the World Health Organization. Material and methods: The study was conducted in a sample consisting of 898 study models. To determine the type of occlusion, Angle classification criteria were taken into account. Results: The 47% patients presented class I malocclusion, the 31% II and the 22% class III. Of the patients included in the study the 61% corresponds to the female sex and a 39 male.
