Sumario:Joan Sales was the director of the publishing house «Club Editor». This fact means that he was at the same time an editor and a translator or, in other words, he acted as a editor of his own translations. This confluence must be understood as a wider visibility of his personal mark in every single edited text. Starting from the basis that not only edition but also translation are rewriting activities, that is, creative activities that are characterized by subversion and textual manipulation depending on special ideology, this article wants to demonstrate the main ideological and aesthetics lines that Sales used in his translations
