| Sumario: | The article offers a reading of the epistolary between Joan Sales and Bernard Lesfargues, which can be consulted in the Digital Document Repository of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. These two men of letters corresponded for about twenty years. The starting point was Lesfargues' translation into French of Sales' novel Uncertain Glory, but, beyond this fact, the correspondence allows us to know, firstly, Sales' work methodology as a translator-creator; secondly, it contains important reflections to both authors on their conception of anthologies; finally, the letters show how both acted as cultural bridges in order to enrich and widen the respective literatures: Catalan, Occitan and French |
