This is fulfilled by designing lesson plans that use certain media content, specially if the students are familiar with it, and make them question broader social issues by analysing a well-known-among- teenagers TV show and the most popular sport in the world. By means of analysing and evaluating closely the content they are constantly exposed to on the media, the students will develop their critical thinking and awareness on social matters, sexism, misogyny and gender-based violence particularlyEl siguiente Trabajo de Fin de Máster reflexiona sobre temas de violencia de género y cómo éstos son percibidos por los adolescentes, especialmente cuando están tan expuestos a contenido en redes sociales y cualquier otro medio de comunicación que no dispone de mecanismos de detección y prevención de la violencia de género, y que fomentan una visión negativa de la mujer. Mediante la puesta en práctica de actividades en las que los y las estudiantes desarrollan su capacidad para pensar críticamente y analizar el contenido que consumen diariamente. Se han escogido los temas de The Big Bang Theory y el fútbol para aplicar estrategias de coeducación a contenidos con los que están familiarizados y de los que no tienen una visión en la que la mujer esté correctamente representada.
