Sumario:This paper aims to describe the current situation of education in Spain by analyzing the evolution of the educational system and the main relevant institutions from a feminist and coeducational perspective. It also presents the main terminological differences of key concepts involved in the pursuit of effective and real equality between women and men. In this regard, the mechanisms that schools maintain to perpetuate sexism through a formal androcentric curriculum and a hidden sexist curriculum are also analyzed to propose coeducative solutions for each context. Finally, a coeducational center program is presented to address issues required in coeducation to eliminate inequality between men and women and prevent gender violence through the analysis of gender stereotypes and cooperative research on new female and male models and possibilities.
