Descripción
Sumario:[EN] Nowadays organizations all over the world try to be increasingly competitive, this includes Bolivian organizations, reason why many of these especially the big companies have included in their environment High Performance Teams (HPTs). However, this type of team is little used in small and medium companies. In this time called the knowledge era, it is no longer enough to have money, prestige, and technology for the company to remain competitive within its sector. On the contrary, it is very important to have a good human talent and know how to make use of it; where the cohesion, trust, and commitment of the members is the main factor that permit to be in a competitive range, improving the productivity, costs, and times of the company. The following work is carried out with the purpose of providing a tool, which can be used by Bolivian construction companies, for the implementation of high performance teams within their organization. It studies all the characteristics that differentiate a traditional team from a high-performance team, as well as the benefits that involve having teams that work with their maximum performance within their functions. On the other hand, all the factors that influence the creation of high performance teams are analyzed, such as communication, problem solving, decision making, shared leadership, work environment, feedback, cohesion and training. These show that if from the beginning a continuous training is imparted and a work is instilled under the culture of cooperation and learning, the members that are part of the team will provide their maximum performance and motivation to achieve the final goal successfully and fulfill the expectations of the company. Focusing more on the Bolivian construction companies, a field work is carried out to corroborate known data and to know better the current situation on the subject of study, in different levels of command starting from the high level to the lowest level and least studied. For the creation of the high-performance equipment procedure manual presented in this End of Master Project, a file and practical annexes are prepared, which are part of the training and implementation plan within the company. It is expected to be a tool for the correct management of human talent within the organization of construction companies. This involves the company's purpose, training, and continuous training, selection of suitable personnel, incentives, communication plans, meetings, decision making, control, and continuous monitoring, and final evaluation. These will strengthen the creation of the team and will allow to closely monitor the evolution of the team as it is getting used to the new company culture. This work aims to provide the reader with a series of concepts, or definitions that will allow an understanding of the variables that influence high performance teams to be a success within the company.
