Sumario:[EN] Haiku has a long history that we previously analyzed, both in Japanese and Spanish culture. This work shows the possibilities offered by this stanza for the development of competencies, skills and abilities in the classroom. With a focus on communicative competence and build a reading habit. And for that they contrasted mainly two experiences of creative writing conducted by teachers Lara Cantizani and Lorente. The final question is to think about how we can approach the use of haiku and teaching intervention in a classroom in order to significantly guide content of interest and basic procedures for reading training.
