description [EN] During recent years the number of companies that have implemented the Last Planner' System (LPS) has increased. This has impacted the performance of construction projects (Alarcón, Diethelm, Rojo & Calderon, 2005). In Chile, the implementation and studies of LPS have concentrated in projects of edification (Alarcón et al., 2005). The present investigation focuses on the implementation of LPS in an edification project in the phase of structures during a period of six months. During this period, the first stage of implementation was analyzed. Defects and deficiencies were determinate for this system which led proposal of new tools and protocols for the correct implementation. The results were contrasted with the data obtained from the first phase of implementation. The investigation confirms tentatively the impact of LPS because of the short period of testing which did not allow a real evaluation during a real time of production, none the less, client (construction workers) satisfaction was obtained. The investigation provided the possibility to create a series of protocols that allowed this methodology to be used in habitation projects in Chile for large hierarchical structures.

A Xile, la implementació i l'estudi del LPS s'ha concentrat a projectes d'edificació (Alarcón et al., 2005). La present investigació es centra en la implementació del LPS en un projecte d'edificació en fase d'estructura durant un període de sis mesos. En aquest període, s'analitza la seua primera implementació i es determinaren els defectes i carències que tenia el sistema i es proposaren noves ferramentes i protocols per a la seua correcta implementació. Els resultats són contrastats amb les dades obtingudes al primer període d'implementació. La investigació confirma l'impacte del LPS d'un mode temptatiu a conseqüència de la brevetat del període de l'estudi i deixant evidència d'un control real de la producció S'obté un alt grau de satisfacció en l'evaluació dels clients (personal de l'obra). La investigació permet crear una sèrie de protocols per aplicar aquesta metodologia en projectes habitacionals a Xile per a grans estructures de comandament altament jerarquitzades.[ES] Durante los últimos años se ha incrementado el número de empresas que han implementado el Last Planner¿ System (LPS), proporcionando su impacto en el desempeño de proyectos de construcción (Alarcón, Diethelm, Rojo & Calderon, 2005).
