| Sumario: | [EN] A study is presented to identify the main learning difficulties that undergraduate students of the Civil Engineering Degree at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) are experiencing in the course of design of concrete structures. This study is contextualised within an innovation and educational improvement UPV project in the topic of disciplinary innovation, in order to identify the causes of the increasing difficulty students have in assimilating theoretical concepts and in their ability to deeply understand their meaning. A detailed and critical analysis of the results of the evaluations is carried out, with an emphasis on those specific aspects that prevent students from making progress in the understanding of the basic concepts of the course. At the same time, the results of these assessments are complemented with the feedback obtained from a representative sample of students, which has made it possible to focus on the key aspects that should be improved in future academic years in order for undergraduate students to achieve the desired learning outcomes in the discipline of concrete structures design. |
