| Sumario: | [EN] Leon Tolstoi (1828-1910) was one of the pillars of the Russian realist literature of the 19th century and through his works he left a wide legacy of precise descriptions from different perspectives of the society in which he lived. His study is usually approached from the political angle, one of his favourite topics; but Tolstoi has another great interest that is also described in several of his great works: the arts. There are clear references little documented throughout his career that shoe the author s inclination for the story of plastic and performing arts, but above all for music. Through this article, his version of music will be exposed in one of his great works such as Ana Karenina, in a way that will frame his conception of this art during the contemporary era and in reference to other disciplines to which he alludes. |
