Sumario:[EN] Commercial interest in outer space has increased in the last years based on its potential to develop and improve products and services. From a sustainable perspective, satellites can support sustainability on the Earth, although concern about a crowded space becomes visible in the political agenda of international organizations. This TFM will evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the space economy in relation to the environment. Also, the business models and sustainability of selected companies in different activities of this market will be analysed.
