| Sumario: | [EN] This master thesis will combine different phases to develop a tool that can measure the circular economy in diverse aspects from the current processes that a hotel manages. The first phase will consist of analyzing and evaluating existing indicators and tools that have already been applied to other sectors, present examples and utilize the most important concepts. Afterwards, there will be an examination of the hotel operations where the circular economy model can be applied through different approaches (general services such as energy and water provision, food industry, etc.). The final step will summarize all the previous concepts and use the most general, applicable, and convenient indicators to provide a tool that can measure how well a hotel is performing in terms of circular economy and assess them with a score. Finally, some recommendations and conclusions will be given to the industry in order to improve the operations. |
