Sumario:Although terminology management is on everyone's agenda nowadays, there is still a major gap between best practices and real life implementations/old habits. In this article we describe how this affects translation and quality assurance of translation. We also present a methodology to process poorly managed terminology data and use the information retrieved during processing and translation to improve the organization and consistency of a term base.
