| Sumario: | Psychological contract and leadership are factors associated with important organisational outcomes (e.g. job satisfaction or performance). This systematic review aims to analyse the relationship between these two variables and how they can act together and affect other variables and organisational outcomes. In the searching process, 13 publications were included and analysed, from these, seven used Leader-Member exchange (LMX) as theoretical framework for the and six of them transformational leadership. All the studies showed that leadership and psychological contract are related and affect each other, mainly through the mediation of psychological contract between leadership and other organisational results. Besides, these two variables together had an impact in organisational outcomes like pay or job satisfaction. These results have theoretical implications for the understanding of these variables in the light of 20 years of research in the field and practical implications for organisations, HR departments and practitioners.
