description El trabajo de investigación titulado: “Habilidades blandas y desempeño docente en una Institución educativa en Ventanilla, 2021”. Tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre las habilidades blandas y el desempeño docente de los profesores de la Institución educativa N°5086 Politécnico de Ventanilla en 2021. La metodología fue tipo básica, diseño no experimental, correlacional de corte transversal. La Población censal estuvo conformada por 70 docentes; se emplearon dos cuestionarios uno por cada variable, ambos cumplieron con la validez por juicio de expertos y confiabilidad. Se empleo la prueba Rho Spearman para determinar la relación entre las variables cuyo resultado fue que las habilidades blandas se relacionan con el desempeño docente con un nivel de correlación alta (Rho 0,741 y p-valor 0,000) Es decir que, a mayores habilidades blandas, mejor será el desempeño docente.
