The materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in order to consider their application as high corrosion resistance coatings.
