| Sumario: | This research work aims to analyze through indicators such as: marginalization, health, employment, migration, Human Development Index (HDI), Economically Active Population (EAP), the economic impact of the tourism project Riviera Nayarit during the period from 1980 to 2010 in the municipalities of Bahia de Banderas and Compostela. The aim is to answer the research question: How and to what extent has the Riviera Nayarit project impacted the economic performance of the state of Nayarit, especially in the municipalities of Bahía de Banderas and Compostela? The methodology used was justified on the basis of theoretical approaches aimed at explaining the phenomenon of local development. |
