Descripción
Sumario:This work presents a spatial analysis of daily mobility in the Metropolitan Area of San Luis Potosí, where the displacement patterns of its population are unknown. With the implementation of a mobility survey, and an origin-destination matrix, the characteristics of people’s habitual trips and their flows in the studied area are observed. The results reflect the characteristics of mobility, the concentration of trips in certain parts of the city, the need for more transportation options, the limitations in accessibility and connectivity, and the social and environmental implications of the current mobility scheme.
