Sumario:The central objective of the present text is to show the role played by the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) compared to the so-called "absolute legislative omissions", with the purpose of sustaining the provenance of amendment to the regulations in force, to incorporate the means of constitutional control known as "Legislative actions by omission". To fulfill our purpose, firstly there shall be established a theoretical section on the issue of unconstitutionality by omission, legislative; after there will be a brief comparative analysis on the subject of unconstitutionality by omission of legislation, and later, it will analyze some criteria that has taken the TEPJF, in front of the legislative omissions absolute. Finally, it will be developed in a modest way, a proposed amendment to the Constitution of the United Mexican States, aiming to incorporate the jurisdictional guarantee called "Legislative actions by omission".
