Resumo:This text aims to make an analysis of three films of Mexican cinema, two of which belonged to the well-known “golden era”, the films that will be taken up throughout this writing are: “Enamorada” by director Emilio “Indio” Fernández, “Nosotros los Pobres” directed by Ismael Rodríguez and finally “El sinvergüenza” by José Díaz Morales. The purpose of this study is to observe the continuities in the dynamics, roles, behavioral models, and gender violence to which women have been subjected throughout history.
