Sumario:As in many universities worldwide, at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (FAMUS-UANL), Mexico, the teaching of music was impacted by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This phenomenon forced urgently carry out important curricular and methodological transformations in the study plans of the subjects, including Solfeggio. In this context, musical dictation constituted a successful didactic strategy, in classes and in solfeggio contests in the online distance mode, applying the Methodology for the development of musical memory and creativity in Solfeggio classes (MEMOSOLF), created before the pandemic at FAMUS-UANL, for the face-to-face modality. This essay offers analytical information on the process of applying musical dictation and the results obtained in solfeggio classes taught online at the Technical and Bachelor levels of FAMUS-UANL, in the years 2021 and 2022.
