| Resumo: | This article analyzes the work with the bare hand developed since the 1950s by Mane Bernardo and Sarah Bianchi, and which led to the formation of a technique called hand pantomime. The limits of the traditional definition of puppet and the practices it encompasses, will be examined, along with the notion of experimentation proposed by Ber-nardo, marked by the tensions between tradition and modernity. This seeks to place this experience among those that contributed to the modernization of the puppet theatre in Argentina. |
