Para ello, se hará una revisión de la literatura asociada a dos metodologías activas dirigidas a un aprendizaje contextualizado, significativo y funcional. La primera de ellas, el Aprendizaje Integrado de Contenidos y Lenguas Extranjeras (AICLE) ha tomado bastante relevancia en el contexto educativo español para abordar la enseñanza bilingüe. Por otro lado, el Aprendizaje Servicio (AS) permite aplicar el aprendizaje académico en contextos de la comunidad del alumnado. Haciendo uso de la información recabada, ambas metodologías convergen en el diseño de una propuesta didáctica para abordar la enseñanza de ciencias sociales en el aula de cuarto curso de educación primaria. La esencia de esta propuesta radica en el desarrollo de un proyecto de aprendizaje-servicio situado dentro del aula de ciencias AICLE, en el que los estudiantes explorarán el sector servicios dentro de su comunidad local. Al involucrar al alumnado en escenarios reales, relacionados con su contexto, esta iniciativa pretende fomentar la adquisición significativa de vocabulario. (EN) The present master’s dissertation tackles a pressing need within contemporary bilingual education systems, i.e., the functional teaching of a foreign language. To this end, a review of the literature associated with two active methodologies aimed at achieving contextualised, meaningful, and functional learning will be carried out. First, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) has acquired great relevance in the Spanish educational context to address bilingual education. Service Learning (SL), in turn, enables the use of academic learning in the context of the student's community. On On the basis of the collected evidence, both methodologies converge in the design of a didactic proposal to address the teaching of social sciences in the fourth-grade classroom of primary education. The essence of this proposal lies in the development of a service-learning project located within the CLIL science classroom in which students will explore the service sector within their local community.
