Description
Summary:[EN]At European level, there is a growing urgency to improve the English language skills of pupils and to create links between school and society. This ma dissertation has the main aim of developing a didactic proposal that combines both Service-Learning and CLIL. To achieve it, we are going to show a literature review that collects information on both approaches and their compatibility. Subsequently, the different elements of the didactic proposal will be exposed. The project is targeted at 6th-grade students of primary education, particularly for natural sciences. They will learn about different aspects related to the functioning of an animal shelter through collaboration between the school and the organization. Finally, learners will design different Instagram posts to raise awareness about the animal shelter’s work at the same time they promote adoptions. Afterward, the conclusions will be drawn which lead to the analysis of future lines of research.
