Descripción
Sumario:[EN] The authors have restructured the way of imparting the practices of the subject Materials Science of the degree of chemical engineering approaching a model based on cooperative learning. With this methodology, students are able to obtain and improve different skills and abilities while increasing their knowledge in a group and effective manner. During the process the students assume different roles and responsibilities, generating among them a direct feedback with the course of each practice and generating a positive work environment where each of them is a fundamental part of the final objective. In this way, they all generate a positive boost in the career of their selflearning, always supported by the teacher as the main guide. The satisfaction of the students in relation to the new method has been evaluated and not only good results have been obtained, but an improvement in the academic performance and in the motivation of the students
