| Sumario: | Is it competent to evaluate everyone equally? What is the difference between educating in equality and doing so in equity? Is diversity considered in student skills? The present paper attempts to answer these questions by initially exploring the concept of intelligence, to further analyze the diversity of individual skills in a cooperative educational context. The scientific validity of some educational myths is questioned and attempts are made to corroborate their usefulness in the classroom. The exploration of the nuances in the abilities of the students constructs the frame of development of a proposal oriented to the educational reflection that destines to the understanding of the diversity like concept. The definition of intelligence and the contrast between the more traditional views and contemporary theories function as the backbone of a set that seeks to analyze cognitive diversity in classrooms from a transversal perspective |
