Descripción
Sumario:This literature review protocol was used to explore the gendered and interrelated factors shaping farmer renewal and sustainable farming models and how these factors might also affect population settlement in underpopulated rural areas. We used the database Scopus to get hits for the 3 topics identified: renewal, sustainability and settlement. We limited the search to scientific articles or book chapters published in English between 2013 and 2023, and only focused on multidisciplinary social sciences or humanities subject areas. Out of the initial 241 hits, we included 33 articles, which had 637 unique and valid reference-hits . From those we finally included 157 articles based on the screening process, resulting in 190 articles that were fully red and coded.
