| Sumario: | This primary data protocol was used to collect data doing fieldwork in Vocational Agricultural Training Schools in depopulated areas in Spain. Qualitative (interviews and workshops) and quantitative (surveys) methods are described in detail, including the sampling approach and questionnaires/interview guidelines content. This data was used to investigate the factors influencing the decision to enter farming, the decision to live in a depopulated rural area, and the decision to choose a more sustainable farm model. Also, to understand the discourses surrounding the issue of generational renewal that are more related to general farm sector debates on digitalization and financialization, and anti-environmentalist/anti-feminist discourses. |
