Descripción
Sumario:This secondary data protocol was used to compile and transform data from the Spanish 2020 Agrarian Census in order to generate a dataset that could be used to describe the characteristics of farms with a young farm manager (aged 40 or less years old) in terms of their economic structure and environmental sustainability, and see if there are differences by sex of the manager, depopulation status of the county where the farm is located, and access to CAP rural development aids.. We used microdata from the 2020 Spanish Agrarian Census, provided by the National Statistical Institute. As for depopulation data, we used the indicators generated by the Mapa174 project. All the data transformations are described in the protocol, as well as the final structure of the dataset and the analyses we performed.
