New uses of westphal condensation - synthesis of flavocorylene and related indolo[2,3-a]quinolizinium salts
Using the Westphal condensation, flavocorylene and related Indolo[2,3-a]-quinolizinium salts have been prepared in two steps, starting from commercially available β-carboline derivatives.
