Descripción
Sumario:Currently, schools are emerging that question the deep grammar of the school, developing a school culture and curriculum that is linked to the legacy of pedagogical renewal in Spain. The aim of this article is twofold: firstly, to set out and explain the process of creating a register of renovating schools in infant and primary education in Catalonia and, secondly, as a central aspect, to carry out a study of the main characteristics of these schools. This research is based on a non-experimental methodology of an interpretive nature that, as a complement, has used quantitative methods to complete the understanding of the proposed object of study. The results show a heterogeneous educational reality with certain pedagogical regularities. However, substantial differences can also bedetected in fundamental issues such as the use of technology, the approach to emotional education or the role of families in the school, thus drawing a plural educational panorama that faces profound debates on the educational task in a historical contextin full transformation
