Generating Lie Markov models with prescribed symmetry

Recent works discuss the importance of the multiplicative closure of the Markov models used in phylogenetics. A sufficient condition is requiring the set of rate-matrices of the model to form a Lie algebra. In this work, we want to implement this algorithm to generate all models for a given symmetry...

Sumario:Recent works discuss the importance of the multiplicative closure of the Markov models used in phylogenetics. A sufficient condition is requiring the set of rate-matrices of the model to form a Lie algebra. In this work, we want to implement this algorithm to generate all models for a given symmetry. This implementation would be important for getting examples and investigate more properties of these models.
