Bearing this in mind, the aim of this paper is to describe the impact of tutors on a program of self development of on-line competences among 30 professionals. Initial results that activities planned by a tutor play a key role in program success –on account of the s of follow-up/monitoring, information and guidance carried on the studentLas propuestas de Educación a Distancia basadas en tecnología Web ocupan en la actualidad un lugar indiscutible. El uso de los nuevos recursos en los procesos formativos cambia la manera en que la gente aprende y demanda del alumno mayor esfuerzo, implicación y habilidades para el manejo de información (Hokanson y Hooper, 2000). Por tanto, el papel del tutor se convierte hoy en una pieza clave que guía y facilita el aprendizaje del alumno. En este contexto, el objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el impacto de la acción de un tutor en un programa de auto desarrollo de competencias on line sobre 30 profesionales.
