Descripción
Sumario:[EN] As economic activity, the construction sector in Peru is considered one of the most important; not only for its ability to generate employment but also the evolution of this sector is linked to other branches of industry (cement, steel, bricks, etc.). This research seeks to understand the characteristics and reality of the planning and control of works (construction projects) in the construction environment in Peru. For which a survey was conducted to professionals in the Peruvian construction sector, obtaining a sample of 158 respondents. This study has allowed us to find that there is a problem with the precision and clarity of purpose and before the start of the execution of construction projects goals; also the bar or Gantt chart is one of the favorite tools for both the development of basic programs to control work progress; which it is justified with readability and contrast planned with what was actually executed. Finally, another important finding was that, innovative tools like the last planner system and BIM, are not considered as a general idea of implementation within the planning and control of works in Peru. The research concludes with some recommendations or suggestions for improvement for systems planning and temporal control of works in the construction sector in Peru.
