Descripción
Sumario:Mónica Olivares Leyva and Carmen Pena Díaz describe and analyze the teaching experiences derived from the English language courses aimed at in-service Secondary Education teachers who plan to enroll in the CLIL program in Madrid, with a view to helping future teachers when planning similar courses. The main objective of the study is to analyse and assess the use of the virtual platform offered by the University of Alcalá to its teachers and students in order to improve their teaching-learning process and find out whether this type of teaching is effective with this group. In addition to this, the study also aims at taking advantage of the features and specific communication skills that this type of student has, as they are themselves teachers and have thus hopefully already developed in their teaching profession the ability to generate a dynamic and motivating learning environment.
