Descripción
Sumario:The educational context demands the training of teachers who respect the individual differences. Based on the need for this training, this study analyzes the knowledge that teachers in training (Master in Teaching, Spanish Language and Literature) have about attention to diversity through readings. Two previous objectives are proposed: the first investigates the memories of Secondary Education school experiences on the subject -quiz without prior knowledge-; the second -after a short training period-offers current readings and didactic proposals. To compile the information for this case study, the mixed, quantitative and interpretive methodology is applied. Their questionnaires offer the analysis over time of a population of 71 university students (10 autonomous communities) during three academic years. The data analyzed express results of the scarce reading experiences and the training deficiencies of the students; Now they compensate for these deficiencies with education in values. This situation poses the need to develop specific training to address diversity with reading itineraries.
