Sumario:[EN] : In this Final Master's Project, the perceptions and attitudes of moderate wine consumption on health are analyzed according to primary care physicians in Spain. A national survey was conducted on 199 physicians. The main results indicate that the moderate consumption of wine for these professionals is 1 glass of wine (150 ml) per day. Red wine was associated with the benefit to the cardiovascular system. In contrast, white wine was not associated with any health benefit. We also found 3 groups of doctors with different attitudes toward moderate wine consumption. Although all of them agreed that, it was important to limit the amount of wine consumed by patients. Finally, recommendations are made to wine companies and public health professionals.
