Sumario:We compared xenodiagnosis with quantitative polymerase chain reaction in skin biopsies from 3 patients with maculopapular or nodular post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL). PKDL detection and treatment are important missing components of the kala-azar elimination program.
