Descrição
Resumo:The main aim of this article is to explore the notion of literary plurilingualism through the experience of French-speaking writers. The way this discursive methodology works in an enunciative and narratological framework reveals the how these writers relate to the different languages that are featured within their texts. We provide a context to this literary plurilingualism among a range of authors to understand its different dimensions and functions. Our approach aims to prove that it contributes to a close relationship between language(s) and literature, and also to compelling one between the languages themselves. Finally, we consider linguistic and textual issues by addressing topics related to miscegenation, hybridism and alterity, as well as heterolingualism, literary and textual diglossia, and contrastive heteroglossia.
