Through the analysis of four movies created since the Spanish democratic Transition to the first years of the 21st century, the thesis wants to explore within the ideal masculinity discourse to test how the social practice is revealed like a kaleidoscope that projects multiple configurations from a common thread.El presente trabajo pretende aproximarse a la realidad polimórfica de las masculinidades, tratando de mostrar como el cine puede ser utilizado como soporte histórico para analizar las rupturas, enlaces, choques y resistencias que se establecen entre los grupos hegemónicos y los subordinados, entendiendo esto no como algo fijo sino como estructuras contextuales.
