| Sumario: | [EN] This work has as main theme, watershed management applied to one basin of the Mediterranean side. Mediterranean basins have a strong torrential, aggravated during heavy rain or heavy precipitation events. Watershed management to identify what improvements we should apply the existing land uses, using geographic information systems. Also, It mentions some relevant factors in the basin, such as forest fires and the vulnerability of aquifers. We must act on watersheds, by applying methodologies of watershed management, with the main objective of studying the watershed and assign the best performances to current uses that are occurring there. Study based on watershed management, behavior and characteristic parameters, in order to determine what the best action to perform. Finally, this paper is aimed at managing the Girona River basin, and implement activities that best suit the characteristics of the basin. |
