We pay attention to the experimentation with certain recurrent narrative structures in this genre, specifically in sequences in which the time parameter seems suspended and acquires thematic value. From the audiovisual documentation of the UGR Scientific Instrumentation Collection funds, made up of obsolete machinery that was used for research decades ago, we fictionalized the interior of hypothetical spaceships that move through space. In this context, a sitespecific video installation project with multiple screens is proposed in the Torreón Exhibition Room of the Palacio del Almirante in Granada. The deployment and installation of projections on the different rooms, heights and coffered ceilings of the space, allows experimenting with narrative lines determined by the movements of the viewer in the exhibition space. In short, a series of displacements between science and fiction are proposed. In this sense we try to elucidate the way in which scientific materials, such as cell slides, acquire plastic and narrative value. The application and study of technical tools such as long sequence shots that record disconnected machines, without activity, invites us to reconsider the duration and absence of events in the audiovisual as an event in itself.[ES] Esta comunicación analiza los modos de construcción y deconstrucción de relato del proyecto audiovisual Ficciones de otro tiempo, que gira en torno al género cinematográfico de ciencia ficción y viajes espaciales. Prestamos atención a la experimentación con determinadas estructuras narrativas recurrentes en dicho género, en concreto en secuencias en las que el parámetro temporal parece suspendido y adquiere valor temático.A partir de la documentación audiovisual de los fondos de la Colección de Instrumentación Científica de la UGR, compuesta por maquinaria obsoleta que hace décadas fue empleada para la investigación, ficcionamos el interior de hipotéticas astronaves que se desplazan por el espacio. En este contexto se plantea un proyecto de vídeo instalación site-specific de múltiples pantallas en la Sala Torreón del Palacio del Almirante de Granada. El despliegue e instalación de proyecciones sobre las diferentes estancias, alturas y artesonados de la sala de exposición, permite experimentar con líneas narrativas determinadas por los desplazamientos del espectador en el espacio expositivo.En definitiva, se plantean una serie de desplazamientos entre la ciencia y la ficción. En este sentido tratamos de dilucidar el modo en que materiales científicos, como por ejemplo diapositivas de células, adquieren valor plástico y narrativo.
